Applicants for membership are required to submit a completed application form, club dues (as per below) and a 4” X 6” head and shoulders photograph (vertical format) at a maximum of 100 dpi for use in production of the member’s ID card. Please send to Bob Buchwald at Theimgmstr@aol.com.

The Boynton Beach Camera Club is open to anyone who would like to be a club member and offers two types of memberships.

A General Member has all of the equal rights and privileges of all club members, with exception to regular club image competitions.

A Competition Member has all of the equal rights and privileges of all club members but must actively compete within BBCC club competitions. The Competition Members group is limited to a total of 60 competing members and each member must submit a minimum of 6 images per year to stay active, not including the End of Year Competition or special announced competitions.

Members wishing to be considered as a Competition Member are required to submit a minimum of three (3) images (prints or digital files) for evaluation to the BBCC Competition Vice President, Michael Rosenbaum, at Polyandy@comcast.net. Those images will then be presented at the next regularly scheduled Board of Directors meeting and will be assigned a competition class. Members approved for Competition Membership will either be given a competition start date or placed on a first-come pending wait list based on the existence of competition vacancies.

Boynton Beach Camera Club Members are expected to participate in the wide scope of club programs and to assist with committees on an as needed basis.

ALL MEMBERS ARE REQUIRED TO SIGN THIS LIABILITY RELEASE.
I/We the undersigned of the Boynton Beach Camera Club, in consideration that the City of Boynton Beach through its DEPARTMENT OF LEISURE SERVICES is providing the use of its SENIOR CENTER FACILITIES to the BOYNTON BEACH CAMERA CLUB of which I am a member, do hereby, for each and every year in which I am a paid member, (1) Assume all risks and responsibility of possible damage or injury, (2) Agree to indemnify and hold harmless the CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH and/or its agents or departments and the BOYNTON BEACH CAMERA CLUB from any liability resulting from my participation.
